City of Toronto Queen Elizabeth II Sesquicentennial Scholarships in Community Health Nursing

Level of Study:

Undergraduate/Graduate

Conditions:

The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement, particularly in courses related to community health nursing. Both the undergraduate and the graduate scholarships will be awarded to students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and residents of Ontario

Undergraduate: The undergraduate scholarship is open to students completing the first year of the second-entry two year BScN program. Preference may be given to students who are proficient in a language besides English and whose interest is to work with multicultural families.

Graduate: The graduate scholarship is open to students enrolled in the Graduate Department of Nursing Science who have completed courses in community health and demonstrate a commitment to this aspect of nursing.

Award Value:

One undergraduate scholarship of $5,000; One graduate scholarship of approximately $3000
