Second Entry Professional Programs
These are programs that require prior university level education for admission. The tuition fees for some of these programs have been de-regulated by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. As a result, the University has arranged for different ways to assist students with financial need.
-
De-regulated programs: Dentistry (DDS and MSc with Specialty training), Master of Biotechnology, Master of Financial Economics, Master of Health Science, Master of Management of Innovation and Pharmacy, Master of Management and Professional Accounting.
Canadian students who are eligible for assistance from the federal or provincial governments may receive up to $2,000 in grants from the University to help meet financial need recognized but not fully covered by the government assistance programs. In addition, the Bank of Nova Scotia has made a line of credit available to qualified students under the Scotia Professional Plan for Students . The University will provide a grant to cover interest on loans borrowed under this Plan up to the level of the assessed unmet need.
