A few notes before you begin the self-assessment for 2012-2013
- You must enable cookies on your browser. If you wish, reset to the original setting after you have finished with the self-assessment.
- The information you enter for self-assessment will not be retained. Your personal information is not required.
- Please note that when completing the application, all questions related to income must be completed. An entry of zero is necessary, as a blank field will not be accepted.
- It is important that parental income for 2011 be accurately reported if it is requested on your UTAPS application. You will need your parent(s)' gross 2011 income(s) plus CPP, EI and Tax Payable figures. Ideally these figures should be copied from their 2011 income tax return(s). Accurate estimates are acceptable if the tax returns have not been completed.
- The assessment is based on current OSAP policies and educational expenses at the University of Toronto and is intended to help you plan for your university expenses. Your actual OSAP entitlement could be different. 2012-2013 OSAP applications for residents of Ontario will be available in May 2012 at: http://osap.gov.on.ca
- If you are applying for admission to a program that admits students directly from high school, you should complete and submit your UTAPS application, preferably by February 29, 2012, to ensure that you will be considered for need-based admission awards.
