We value the partnership with secondary school guidance counselors throughout the application process and rely on school counseling staff to reinforce the university's application requirements and deadlines and to highlight our admission requirements.

For Ontario counselors, the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) has produced its schedule of dates and other important information for the 2011-2012 application cycle: http://guidance.ouac.on.ca/

We ask school counselors in other jurisdictions to encourage students to apply by our deadlines:

January 16: All Music Programs (including Concurrent Teacher Education Program)
February 1: Concurrent Teacher Education Programs (U of T Mississauga, U of T Scarborough, Physical Education & Health/Kinesiology)
March 1: Applied Science and Engineering; Architecture, Landscape, and Design; Faculty of Arts and Science, U of T St. George; Physical Education and Health/Kinesiology; U of T Mississauga; U of T Scarborough)

and to direct students to specific requirements of our faculties and programs.

We also welcome letters from school counselors that support an applicant's appeal for consideration based on extraordinary circumstances.

CORRECTION TO OUR PRINTED PUBLICATIONS: Applicants to any Engineering program are required to present Advanced Functions (MHF4U) and are NOT required to take Mathematics of Data Management (MDM4U). Please note that this error appears in the print version of the Admissions Bulletin and University of Toronto Viewbook 2012/2013.
